The netbsd-3-0 branch is open for critical bug fixes. It will be released as NetBSD 3.0.2 later this year. The netbsd-3 branch is open for bug fixes and new features which maintain backward compatibility. NetBSD 3.1 has been released from this branch. It leads toward NetBSD 3.2, if such release is ever made.
