  major release of the NetBSD Operating System, and was released
  on December 23, 2005.  This release can be downloaded from one
  of our <ulink url="../../mirrors/">mirror sites</ulink>, or the
  <ulink url="ftp://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/NetBSD/">main site</ulink>.

NetBSD 3.1  is the first feature update of the NetBSD 3.0
release branch. It contains many bugfixes, security updates,
new drivers and new features like support for Xen3 DomU.

in nature for stability or security reasons.
