AsiaBSDCon 2008 NetBSD BoF ``NetBSD Discussion'' Date: March 28, 2008 Time: 15:00-18:00 Place: Room D Price: free This small BoF is for anything about NetBSD for anyone - demo a new product running NetBSD, exchange information about hardware which you want to use on NetBSD. Some foreign (== non-Japanese) developers will attend. We plan to give the following 5 talks: Alistair Crooks will talk about three roadmaps for NetBSD development, through 5.0 and 6.0 - this will cover storage, networking and virtualisation. Toshiaki Nozawa from Speecys Corp. and I plan to give a talk in this BoF. Nozawa-san talks about libevent library application for his robot product. He'll show a robot running NetBSD. Hiroki Doshita and Masahiko Yasuoka from IIJ SEIL team will talk about their pppd implementation and its accelaration technique. Cherry G. Mathew will give a brief talk about NetBSD/ia64 - "what needs to be done". Masao Uebayashi will talk about work-in-progress MIPS N32 ABI support.
